Multi-Regional Website Redesign: Building a High-Performance, Multilingual Platform
Background
Nawkaw is an innovative construction company specializing in concrete and masonry staining solutions. They create long-lasting, environmentally sustainable architectural finishes for a wide variety of structures.
Operating within a complex corporate structure, Nawkaw serves multiple distinct regions across North America and Australia. Their target audience is exceptionally varied, requiring them to communicate effectively with homeowners, general contractors, architects, and commercial decision-makers all from a single brand platform.
Nawkaw’s previous website was holding back their digital growth and frustrating potential clients. The platform suffered from severe performance bottlenecks, holding a “C” rating on GTmetrix. This slow load time was driven by an overloaded Elementor setup and excessive plugins. For a construction company that relies on high-quality project imagery to sell its services, a sluggish website severely impacted the user experience.
Beyond speed, the site’s navigation structure was confusing. It failed to route distinct user groups to the specific information they needed. An architect seeking technical safety data had to wade through the same menus as a homeowner looking for aesthetic inspiration.
Also, the site lacked regional customization. It could not adequately address the unique climates, service offerings, and languages required for their United States, Canadian, and Australian markets. Finally, Nawkaw was losing out on vital search engine traffic because highly valuable technical resources, including PDFs and case studies, were hosted on an external server rather than the main Nawkaw domain.
Pronto Marketing partnered with Nawkaw to completely rebuild their website from the ground up.
Content Optimized for Each International Market
Pronto executed a local SEO and copywriting strategy covering 15 core pages per region for United States English, Australian English, and Canadian English. This was paired with extensive keyword planning for the Canadian French market. To consolidate domain authority, the team migrated all externally hosted PDFs and technical data sheets directly to the Nawkaw server. Gated content forms were also introduced for high-value case studies, turning technical documents into a powerful lead generation tool for commercial buyers.
Interactive Design
To demonstrate Nawkaw’s craftsmanship visually, the design team built an interactive “Color Library.” Rather than overwhelming users with scientific data upfront, this feature breaks down stain offerings into specific color categories.
The design utilizes a one-to-many relationship structure. It links individual stain shades directly to real-world portfolio projects, allowing potential clients to see exactly how specific colors look on finished brick and concrete buildings.
Leaner Development with Reduced Reliance on Plugins
The development team replaced the bloated, plugin-heavy framework with a streamlined and highly performant architecture. They engineered a scalable multi-site structure capable of supporting three languages and multiple international franchises under one unified system.
Development also included the integration of expanded lead capture forms and comprehensive Google Analytics event tracking to accurately monitor user engagement across all global regions.
Regional Routing Established
To solve the regional routing issue, Pronto implemented advanced IP detection.
This feature automatically routes users to their region-specific site based on their geographic location. It also provides a simple global navigation toggle for users who need to switch regions manually. Finally, the overall site architecture was completely restructured to clearly segment Commercial and Residential services, guiding distinct user groups efficiently through the sales funnel without confusion.
RESULTS
The backend architectural overhaul provided immediate, measurable results. Pronto Marketing improved the website’s GTmetrix score from a “C” to an “A” rating, drastically reducing page load times and providing a smooth browsing experience for visually heavy pages.
The complex, multi-language site went live successfully in November, 2025. It met all project deadlines and successfully consolidated a fragmented global presence into a single, easily manageable platform. Following the launch, we received overwhelmingly positive feedback. Nawkaw noted that they received a tremendous amount of quality work for their budget and praised the entire process as a true partnership.
“Pronto Marketing built a website in three languages with lots of visuals, lead collection forms, and a color library. We have a somewhat complex corporate structure that spans North America and includes franchises in Australia, and Pronto Marketing built a site that works for all of this.
Regarding the color library, it breaks down our color offerings into types and displays them in a visually appealing and easy-to-navigate section. We got a tremendous amount of quality work for our budget. There was nothing they could have done better. The process felt like a real partnership.”
