Background
Next Level Now is a growing business that relies on a stable and fast website. Jenna Chouinard of JC Marketing Group acts as the fractional CMO for Next Level Now and maintains a transparent partnership with Pronto Marketing for WordPress and digital marketing services.
Next Level Now’s website was previously hosted on WP Engine. While WP Engine is a well-known provider, Jenna identified a strategic opportunity to upgrade the site to Pronto’s enterprise-grade Kinsta hosting environment. The primary objective was to consolidate hosting and technical maintenance under a single expert team. This shift offered Next Level Now significantly simpler vendor management and access to comprehensive WordPress support that typically costs magnitudes more when purchased directly by an SMB.
The Challenge: Navigating a Strict 30-Day Migration Window
The migration project was bound by a strict 30-day termination window with the previous hosting provider. With the existing WP Engine hosting agreement set to expire on November 19, 2025, the Pronto Marketing team had to ensure the transition to the Kinsta platform was completed well within this timeframe.
Preserving Next Level Now’s existing front-end design and functionality during the time-sensitive migration was a critical requirement.
The primary operational challenge was executing a seamless transfer of all website files, databases, and configurations before the hard deadline without causing any downtime for Next Level Now. Furthermore, the migration needed to ensure that all existing site functionality remained perfectly intact during the switch to the new server environment.
The Solution: Seamless Migration and Premium Tool Integration
The Technical Lift
The Pronto Marketing team executed a secure, complete transfer of the Next Level Now website from WP Engine to our Kinsta hosting environment. While WP Engine is a well-established host, Kinsta is consistently rated as a top provider based on G2 reviews for enterprise performance. Moving to this infrastructure provided Next Level Now with a more robust foundation for speed and reliability.
Premium Value Adds
During the migration process, our development team went beyond a simple file transfer. We integrated several premium plugins utilizing Pronto’s agency licenses.
This upgrade included:
- Gravity Forms
- Advanced Custom Fields PRO
- Beaver Builder Pro
- WP Rocket
By provisioning these premium tools under Pronto’s agency licenses, we equipped Next Level Now with premium site functionality and caching capabilities, saving the client approximately $466 in direct annual software costs.
Security and UX Enhancements
To protect the newly migrated site, we implemented email-based Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for all existing WordPress users. On the performance side, combining Kinsta’s advanced server architecture with precise caching configurations via WP Rocket significantly optimized page load speeds, creating a faster and more responsive user experience.
The Enterprise Hosting Advantage: $99 vs. $630 per Month
By migrating to Pronto Marketing’s Technical Support plan at $99 per month, Next Level Now gained full access to an enterprise tier Kinsta hosting environment.Â
If purchased directly by the client, this same enterprise grade infrastructure would cost $630 per month.
The Results: Faster Load Times and Streamlined Management
The migration and final quality assurance checks were completed on November 14, 2025. This secured the new environment comfortably ahead of the November 19 deadline, ensuring Next Level Now experienced zero downtime. Post migration analysis conducted on November 18, 2025 revealed substantial improvements across key Google PageSpeed Insights metrics. By moving to Kinsta and applying proper caching, the site saw immediate jumps in both performance and technical SEO health:| Metric | Before (WP Engine) | After (Kinsta) | Improvement |
| Desktop Performance | 80 | 92 | +12 |
| Desktop SEO | 61 | 92 | +31 |
| Desktop Accessibility | 89 | 91 | +2 |
| Mobile Performance | 41 | 56* | +15 |
| *Note on Mobile Performance: Because this website was not originally built by Pronto Marketing, its mobile architecture relies on legacy elements within Beaver Builder. Pushing the mobile performance score higher would require either manually optimizing the site page-by-page or executing a complete ground-up rebuild. | |||
Ultimately, Next Level Now secured a faster and more secure website on an enterprise grade hosting platform. Also, by consolidating their hosting and support under Pronto Marketing, they successfully streamlined their vendor management, gaining access to comprehensive WordPress support without the typical enterprise price tag.
